European Federation of Corrosion

Welcome to the EFCE website

Since 1953 the European Federation of Chemical Engineering has promoted scientific collaboration and supported the work of engineers and scientists in 30 European countries. Moreover, from the very beginning Eastern and Central European countries were included.

Today the EFCE represents more than 100,000 chemical engineers in Europe.
With its 20 Working Parties and 6 Sections it covers all areas of Chemical Engineering.

We invite you to participate in the wide range of EFCE activities. We would especially like to draw your attention to our events and Sections , in which everyone is welcome to participate.
 

EFCE Excellence Awards

EFCE has great pleasure in announcing that Dr. MAARTEN SABBE, Belgium, is the winner of the Excellence Award in Chemical Reaction Engineering 2010. The award is presented in recognition of his excellent PhD thesis on "Ab initio based kinetic modeling for the simulation of industrial chemical processes", completed at the University of Gent.

The Federation wishes to announce that the Excellence Award in Membrane Engineering 2010 of the EFCE is awarded to Dr. Eng. ADELE BRUNETTI, Italy, for her excellent PhD thesis on "Integrated membrane plant for pure hydrogen production for PEMFC", completed at the University of Calabria, Rende. more ...


Award for Recent Innovative Contribution in CAPE

The EFCE Working Party on Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) is pleased to announce that Professor RAFIQUL GANI, Lyngby, Denmark is the winner of the the 2010 Award for Recent Innovative Contribution in Computer Aided Process Engineering
