• Solvias, formally the Scientific Services unit of Novartis and prior to that, the Central Research Laboratories of Ciba-Geigy, has many years of experience in the development of proprietary catalysts and ligands for applied catalysis. Our state of the art technology and expertise in both homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, which can be skillfully implemented at scale, exemplify this. These include hydrogenation's, and both C,C and C,N coupling reactions. Due to this breadth of industrial experience, Solvias has the ability to create solutions within a very short time frame allowing our customers the opportunity to incorporate an economic catalytic step into their synthesis.

• Solvias supports its customers with feasibility studies, catalyst screenings as well as process development and process R&D. Its proprietary, industrially proven, air and moisture stable classes of chiral ligands are all available on multi-kg scale with custom tailored IP-models. Furthermore Solvias offers a new one component catalyst with extraordinary efficiency for palladium catalyzed coupling reactions of aryl chlorides in C,C and C,N coupling chemistry.
