CHEMSAFE ... on the Web
Beginning in January 2005, rated safety data of combustible gases, liquids and dusts can be accessed with no difficulty on the Internet. “CHEMSAFE ...on the Web” permits a search for chemical compounds and their safety data simply by specifying the URL “www.chemsafe.dechema.de” using an ordinary browser. It is not necessary to install a program. Searches for basic information only are free of charge and do not require registration. To access data it is necessary to have an account with DECHEMA. On registering the user receives a password. The password and other accounting data are transferred via a secured SSL line.
New: DETHERM version 2.0
DETHERM is the world’s most comprehensive database, containing thermophysical property data such as caloric data, phase equilibria, electrolyte or transport properties. The established data retrieval system DETHERM-ORS for in-house use has been completely revised. Besides a convenient user-interface with new plot features the new version offers a shorter response time and an essentially enhanced variety of queries. The roll-out of DETHERM ORS 2.0 to customers begins in 2005.
