Since 1953 the European Federation of Chemical Engineering has promoted
scientific collaboration and supported the work of engineers and
scientists in 28 European countries. Moreover, from the very beginning
Eastern and Central European countries were included.
Today the EFCE represents more than 100,000 chemical engineers in Europe.

it covers all areas of Chemical Engineering.
We invite you to participate in the wide range of EFCE activities. We would especially like to draw

EFCE Awards

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering is pleased to announce the
EFCE Student Mobility Award 2009
. The objective of the award is to promote mobility among European
chemical engineering students.

is the winner of the EFCE Excellence Award in Crystallization 2008
His PhD thesis on

Modelling Crystal Growth from Pure and Impure Solutions - A Case Study on Sucrose
”
completed at the University of Porto under the supervision
of Professor Fernando Alberto Rocha, was selected by an international jury as
the best thesis in
terms of innovativeness, breadth and depth of research, and its industrial relevance.
