DECHEMA Databases - an Overview

The DECHEMA is distributing databases covering different aspects of chemical technology, environmental protection and biotechnology. These systems are available as online and in-house databases.

CEABA-VtB

... bibliographic database with abstracts on chemical engineering and biotechnology from 1966 to date, currently comprising about 700,000 abstracts . CEABA-VtB is accessible as CD-ROM, online database or as printed bulletins.

NANOapplied

... bibliographic database on CD-ROM with more than 12,000 nanotechnology abstracts selected for process engineers

CO₂ applied

... bibliographic database on CD-ROM with about 25,000 abstracts of carbon dioxide-related publications

DETHERM

... numerical database containing thermophysical property data for design and optimization of chemical plants. At the time more than 5.88 million data sets for around 128,000 pure components and mixtures are stored.

DIPPR 801

... numerical database with a complete matrix of recommended, consistent thermophysical property data for chemicals with industrial priority. At the time DIPPR 801 contains 33 constants and 15 temperature dependent properties for around 1,891 pure components . Now availble within Europe by DECHEMA.

CHEMSAFE

... assessed safety parameters of flammable gases, liquids and dusts for explosion and fire protection . CHEMSAFE presently contains data for more than 3000 pure components and their mixtures and is published in cooperation with the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) and the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) .
