From its very beginning, the European Federation of Chemical Engineering has set itself the objective to be

a platform for communication and
a source of advice and support

for:

• European Institutions seeking expertise for their research programmes
• Learned Societies seeking contact with their counterparts
• Individuals seeking advice or an exchange of experience

EFCE Passport
The Federation's Executive Board launched in January 1999 an EFCE Passport programme which would have substantial benefits for the members of EFCE member societies who joined the scheme. To date, 17 EFCE member societies have signed the agreement.

European Chemical Engineers' Directory
The European Chemical Engineers' Directory is a database administered by the Czech Society of Chemical Engineering on behalf of EFCE.
